Aurelius is a town in Cayuga County, New York. It is part of the Finger Lakes region. The Auburn city line forms the town’s eastern border. Cayuga Lake forms the town’s western border. The town makes up thirty-two square miles. Most of Aurelius is farmland with some vineyards. The town contains the Village of Cayuga, located on the shore of Cayuga Lake. It heads east and west across town and provides direct access to the city without having to take US-20.
